The company's expansion and growth journey began in 2000 with the planning of a Khandasari unit in Hunashal P.G. aimed at addressing farmers' challenges. By 2001, the Khandasari unit was operational with an initial capacity of 100 TCD. The capacity grew to 1,250 TCD through progressive and resilient leadership by 2004-05. The plant's capacity surged further to 4,000 TCD in 2006, setting an industry benchmark for rapid capacity upgrades. By 2009-10, the plant's crushing capacity had increased to 7,500 TCD with 15MW Cogeneration, 45 KLPD Distillery and further increased the crushing capacity to 10,000 TCD by 2012-13.

In 2011, a new plant was added, expanding Cogeneration to 31MW. The company continued to grow, upgrading the distillery from 45 KLPD to 60 KLPD in 2013-14, and in 2016, it established a new sugar plant at Hudali through its wholly owned subsidiary, Belgaum Sugars Pvt. Ltd., with a capacity of 3,500 TCD and a 14MW co-generation unit, built in just 10 months.

At Satish Sugars Ltd., distillery was further expanded to 90 KLPD in 2019, and in 2021, a 210 KLPD multi-feed ethanol plant was commissioned. In 2022, the Belgaum Sugars unit was developed to 10,000 TCD cane crushing and 36MW for power generation. Most recently, in 2023, the company ventured into the steel industry, launching a new steel division producing 200 Tons of TMT steel per day and it is further expanding to 300 Tons per day. Now, the company is setting up of 12 TPD Compressed Bio Gas (CBG) plant based on spent wash from its distillery unit and the project is expected to complete by January,2025.
