Overview

Nayak Student Federation (NSF)

Satish Group established The Nayak School Federation (NSF) in 1991 with the purpose to adequately educate the lesser privileged classes of the society, such that they get placed along side the other layers of the society. This helped us bridge the gap between various sections of the society and uplift the lesser privileged class at par with the other.

Misson:

- Educate students from the under privileged society that brings them upliftment.

- Equal opportunities by High-standard education

Unique proposition: Currently, NSF educates around 4,000 students with the faculty of 150 dedicated teachers across all its schools. The foundation has been recognised by the Karnataka Higher Education Examination Board for achieving exceptional SSLC results, with 95% success rate. NSF students consistently perform well academically and have also brought pride to the foundation by winning accolades in state and national-level sports competitions.

Future plans: NSF has established a Hostel in 1999-2000 with State government aid for the development of students from scheduled tribe. Presently, more than 130 students belonging to lesser privileged classes of the society are benefiting from the school and it’s facilities. The school plans to expand it’s operations in the coming years and accommodate more students for the larger benefit of the society.

Objectives

Development of children belonging to socially, educationally and economically backward classes.
Providing self-employment training and free education to children of scheduled tribe, scheduled caste and other economically backward classes.
To provide good quality education and inculcate ethical values in children.

Creating a congenial and harmonious environment among all sections of the society.
To organize social welfare programmes.
To provide free-ambulance service

Educational and Sports achievements

Kulagod High School has produced 100% results for eight consecutive years from 2010-11 to 2017-18.
Kumar Shankar Arabolla from Kulagod High School scored 98.40% in SSLC in 2015 and KumariSushmaDevera scored 98.08% in SSLC in 2016 Mahesh Thippimani Scored 96% in 2017 and Ashwini Sasalatti scored 95.36% in 2018. Due to their record marks, they stood top among all high schools run by the Organisation.
Ankalagi High School, run by the Organisation, secured 100% pass results in SSLC examinations held in April 2016, 2018. The school has secured 100% results in SSLC four times since inception.
The Boys Kabbaddi team of Sri Siddhroodh High School, Muchandi has participated at the national level Kabbaddi competition three times. It secured first prize in 2011-12.
The Boys’ Volleyball team of Kulagod Higher Primary School participated in the National level volleyball competition.
MahanandaGosavi, a student of Gokak High School, participated and secured First Prize in Satish Sugars Awards programme. She has emerged as a good singer and got opportunities as a playback singer for movies.
Praveen Gasti and ShivappaPoojeri, students of Gokak High School, have emerged as good programme anchors and comedy artists.
Sri S. R. Gayakawad, Sri A. G. Koli, Sri S. A. Baig and Smt. M. M. Hudali have secured best teacher awards.
The Boys and Girls Kabbadi team of Nallanatti Primary School have participated in state level Kabbaddi competitions.
Alumni of various primary and high schools of the organisation are presently working as sub division officers, doctors, engineers and in other coveted posts.

Achievements

The students of Sri Siddharoodh High School and Muchhandi have participated in state and national level Kabbaddi competitions and have stood first in the state.
Two girl students from Government Girls’ School, Maladinni village, Gokak taluk, stood first in the country after competing at the national level kho-kho competitions.
Kumari Pallavi Appinabial, student of Chandaragi Sports School, Ramadurga, won First Prize in state level running competitions. She has won Genaral Champion Prize twice in the sports competitions organized by Satish Sugars Ltd.
Every year 7 to 8 sports persons from Belagavi district win first and second prizes in individual competitions.
Kumari MahanandaGosavi emerged as a top class singer through Satish Sugars Awards. She won 2nd prize at the Voice of Karnataka competition organized by a TV channel. She has got opportunities as a playback singer for Kannada movies.
Praveen Gasti and ShivappaPoojeri have emerged as comedy artists and KashinathSaumsuddi and RameshaSaumsuddi have become good singers.
