Overview

 

The foundation works towards the Well being, Quality Education and Good Health of the people of he region. Under the valuable guidance of Shri Satish Jarkiholi, Hon’ble Minister for Public Works Department (PWD), Government of Karnataka and the Minister in charge for Belagavi, district the FOUNDATION is also working on various social welfare, employment opportunity, sports, environment and religion. Some of the activities the Foundation undertakes are:

  • The Foundation frequently organises Eye Care Camp for general check up, cataract and other essential surgeries.
  • The Foundation helps aspirants of SSC, GD, RPF, Armed forces and Police by providing hands-on physical training and training for written exams at no cost to the aspirants
  • The foundation has donated two Water Tankers to the Belagavi Mahanagara Palike to ensure smooth water supply to all citizen during the summer. Also, in order to keep the city clean, his son and youth leader, Shri Rahul Jarkiholi initiated a garbage clearance truck for waste disposal.
  • The Foundation cleaned up the various bus stands in the villages and painted them.
  • Youth leader Rahul Jarkiholi distributed 50 chairs and sound systems each to various temples/ schools/ Church/ Trust/ Associations belonging to various communities in the villages of Mannikeri, Dandapur, Duradundi, Venkatapura, Haleyaragudri, Moodalagi, Yadawada, Nallanatti, Masaguppi, Kalloli in the Arebhavi constituency.
  • The Satish Jarkiholi Foundation donated Mats and shoes to 15 female students to participate in the district-level Dasara Kabaddi Tournament.
  • The Satish Jarkiholi Foundation provided sports equipment and kits to the national-level cricketer Yellappa Lagamappa Gadkari of Panagutti village to participate in the Dasar a Cricket tournament for the physically challenged.
  • The Foundation nurtures the cricketing talent amongst the youth by conducting frequent cricket tournaments.
  • The Foundation has devised various programs that help the children from the under privileged sections of society, especially the girls to realise their dreams. In one such case, our Youth leader Priyanka Jarkiholi financially sponsored Lakshman B Patgari, a member of the Karnataka State team to participate in the International Para Throwball Championship held in Chennai from 23 to 27 December, 2023. In other case, Rahul Jarkiholi of the foundation sponsored Manjula Goraguddi to participate in the 8th World Dwarf Games- 2023 organized by the German Sports Cologne, Germany.
  • Satish Jarkiholi Foundation celebrates World Environment Day with various activities like tree plantation, sapling distribution and other green initiatives.
  • Rahul Jarkholi distributed 100 chairs and sound systems each to various temples/ mosques/churches/ trusts/ associations in Khasbagh, Shahapura, Anandwadi Shahpura, Anagol, Majagaon, Wadagavi, Old Belagavi, Peeranawadi in Belagavi district.
  • Satish Jarkiholi has always been a great support torural talents and has been encouraging them all through.
  • The Satish Jarkiholi Foundation provides free training for those who have cleared the BSF physical exam to prepare for the written exams.
