Satish Sugars Ltd. began its journey in the year 2000 with the establishment of a Khandasari unit, initially operating at a capacity of 100 TCD (tons crushed per day). By 2004-05, after careful evaluation of financial feasibility, taking small steps for expansion and risk avoidance, Satish Sugar Limited adopted advanced Vacuum Pan Technology, increasing the plant's capacity to 1,250 TCD and thereafter with phase wise expansions, today Satish Sugars Ltd is having plant capacity of 10,000 TCD with 300 KLPD Distillery plant.We foster sustainability through Satish Sugar Limited’s 31 MW cogeneration unit. It is a significant contribution to addressing the power shortage in Karnataka. The electricity generated is sold to HESCOM and on Energy Exchanges, helping to meet the region’s energy demands while promoting sustainable energy practices.Many small expansion efforts were adopted by the management for the holistic development of the organization and the society around it.

Today, Satish Sugar Limited’s sugar production is supported by more than 40,000 acres of sugarcane cultivation, with plans to expand by an additional 10,000 acres. The company actively supports local farmers through the distribution of sugarcane seedlings and fertilizers, helping to ensure a consistent supply of high-quality produce thus increasing the employability index. Through sponsorships for workshops and seminars, both at state and national levels, Satish Sugar Limited encourages the adoption of modern agricultural techniques.
